Deni Niethammer and Eric Friedrich created The Resource Group, LLC in 1998 and were among the first in Colorado to offer low commission real estate listings for home and land sellers. Since Colorado became a “minimum service” state in the early 2000’s with regard to real estate, our “hybrid service” was born. This allowed us to keep our fees low while still providing our clients with expert service to closing. This method became successful with positive feedback and many happy clients! Evolving through the years and adapting with the times keeps this service affordable to our clients while still providing expert knowledge and professional service!

Deni Niethammer, Owner/Broker
In 1998 I created the Hybrid MLS Listing Service to sell homes, and land, in Colorado and allow sellers to save thousands of dollars in commissions. The system is designed to provide you with all the advantages of the powerful MLS system and professional real estate expertise at a fraction of traditional real estate selling costs.
You won’t find anyone with a deeper understanding of the Hybrid MLS Listing model than the professional Realtors at The Resource Group, LLC. Our team has a unique position in the industry. For more than 25 years we have operated a successful low commission real estate company. Over those years thousands of home sellers, just like you, have saved hundreds of thousands of dollars using our Hybrid MLS program.
Experience counts! In 1998 after I saw the need for an alternative MLS service. My epiphany came before I got my real estate license. In 1997, I wanted to sell my $150,000 home in Aurora, Colorado. As the Realtor filled in his 6% commission on the listing contract, I thought to myself” Are you really worth $9,000?” That got me thinking. I was sure there was a more equitable way to work with homeowners who needed to sell, give them access to the MLS, provide services that are required by the Colorado Real Estate Commission and save them thousands of dollars in Realtor commissions. In 1998 I created The Resource Group, LLC and was among the first in Colorado, to offer low commission listings for home and land sellers.
I’ve always been interested in helping people. Prior to becoming a real estate professional, I was a Labor and Delivery RN for 23 years. I’ve has assisted in about 2,500 births in Colorado and North Carolina.

Eric Friedrich, Broker Associate
I’ve worked with my hands since my late teens and early twenties, building a foundation in home remodeling and landscaping long before I knew I would one day become a real estate agent. Looking back, that hands-on experience has proven invaluable, giving me a practical understanding of the challenges homeowners and buyers often face.
I began in Littleton, Colorado, spending about 10 years in landscape construction. During that time, I built retaining walls, flagstone patios, and bio-falls that flowed into beautiful ponds. Working with a talented crew across the Parker, Highlands Ranch, Roxborough Park, and Castle Rock areas was both rewarding and fun.
I later transitioned indoors to focus on home construction, renovation, and remodeling. For roughly seven years, I helped transform severely distressed properties into modern, comfortable homes for new residents. This work often brought me into high-end properties where detailed craftsmanship mattered most—something I found deeply satisfying.
While I loved physical labor, my body eventually encouraged a change. This lead to me working at The Resource Group, LLC behind the scenes doing website design and data entry. Having a thirst for knowledge and growth, I earned my real estate license and joined Deni as a broker in 2008. Under her guidance I’ve developed deep industry knowledge that I now pair with a friendly, client-focused approach.

Alese Wordley, Broker Associate
I joined The Resource Group in Colorado to expand my knowledge and capabilities in real estate. In the last 30 years, I have gained life experience from teaching math and science, raising two beautiful daughters, as well as now working in property management. Since 2017 I have successfully managed 10 properties for a small management company, Executive Home Rentals, finding over 25 qualified tenants in the foothills of Colorado. My past experiences have taught me that success comes from commitment to discipline, resilience, and work ethic. I love working with people and have come to understand the importance of building and maintaining meaningful relationships.
My husband and I have bought, sold, and built homes in Michigan, Texas, Wisconsin, and Colorado. It was an easy decision to join The Resource Group having bought our last home using Deni. It was one of the smoothest home purchases we’ve had. I am excited to help give people that same experience in finding their next home in the beautiful state of Colorado.

Charla Lloyd, Broker Associate
I initially entered the real estate field as a listing coordinator with a top 10 team in Texas, then I got my real estate license. I understand the importance of being available to my clients. In Texas I earned the Executive level with Re/Max in 2016 and again in 2017 as a buyers specialist in the hot DFW market during the bidding war time.
I own and operate a tiny home business in Colorado, with my husband, as well. We have put our roots down in this state and I would love the opportunity to serve you with your real estate needs.

Julie Miller, Administrative Assistant
A designer and craftsperson by trade, I am happy to be a part of The Resource Group by using my attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage MLS Listings and support my team in any way they need. What I love about this job is that it is data entry, but with a very personal element. We are helping people buy and sell what is likely their biggest asset, and they are buying and selling property for various reasons. As a team, we are happy to spend time with our clients to answer their questions, and we aim to make their transactions as smooth as possible. It is our highest priority to be personal and tactful while ensuring accuracy and transparency throughout the process. Basically, we love navigating tricky terrain (pun intended) to get to a positive outcome!
I graduated from RISD with a BFA in Industrial Design, and I have 20 years experience in graphic design. I’ve used that experience to update the logo, website, and email designs for The Resource Group, LLC.
